All eyes on Qtel at Barcelona telecom meet

All eyes will be on DOHA Qtel Group on the GSMA Mobile World Congress with the global communications leader set to revealing a series of new initiatives in the meet that begin on 25 February in Barcelona, Spain.

The Qtel Group delegation will be led by Chairman Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud al Thani HE and teams from Qtel will record in Qatar; Asiacell in Iraq; Indosat in Indonesia; Nawras in Oman; Nedjma in Algeria; Tunisiana in Tunisia and Wataniya in Kuwait, the Maldives and Palestine.

Group CEO of Qtel and Chairman of the GSMA Mobile for development Dr. Nasser Marafih outlined the Group's Foundation initiative to be unveiled at the oncoming Congress, Marafih said: "our services have the ability to enrich people's lives. We will be focused on the social and human consequences of communication services through our participation in the Congress and overview of our plans for new initiatives that will benefit the communities we serve. "
