CPD books three stores for violating sales regulations

The Consumer Protection Department DOHA (CPD) of the Ministry of Business and trade has three large shops for electronic and electrical goods, clothing and accessories for customers by offering false promotion sales duping Act posted.

The stores that were discovered during a routine inspection raids by CPD officials have booked for violating ministerial order no of 1984 concerning sales through promotions and discounts.

In addition, some other shops were also found to be misleading people and violating the law No 8 of 2008 on the protection of the consumer.

The offending stores have their licenses according to the laws and regulations for the rest of the promotion period will be cancelled.

The CPD has stressed the need for companies and companies operating in the country to respect the laws and regulations governing sales and promotions, noting that it would not tolerate violations of law.

It has also urged suppliers to continue to work for the credibility and transparency while offering property, so there will be trust between them and their customers for the promotion of the right business environment in the country.
