DOHA THE Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will sign contracts for seven new healthcare projects on Wednesday.
Through these contracts, Ashghal is keen to deliver a number of infrastructure projects and government buildings in keeping with the highest international specifications and standards, and in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
Among the other projects that Ashghal will execute is the educational centre at Hamad Medical City for the training of students of medicine as well as nurses. It will be spread over an area of 13,000 square metres.
The project’s goal is to improve the quality of medical education and provide quality healthcare to the people in the country.
Meanwhile, Ashghal is working, in collaboration with the Supreme Council of Health, on expanding three hospitals in Doha and other areas to increase their capacity to attend to more patients.
