QPM staff take part in blood donation drive

DOHA ABOUT 400 employees of QPM, the first Qatari firm in project management field, took part in a blood donation drive recently.

All QPM associates were invited to participate in the exercise conducted by Hamad Medical Corporation’s blood donation unit.

Waseef, a Qatari property and asset management firm with offices at QPM Tower, also participated in the event.

QPM’s Chief Executive Officer Fahad Rashid Mohamed Ajlan al Kaabi was the first to donate blood on the day.

The drive aimed to help those in need of blood transfusion in the country.

This initiative was part of QPM’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) campaign that aims to give something back to the society Commenting on the campaign, Kaabi said, “QPM appreciates the dynamic nature of the Qatari market and how it has been instrumental in providing the right environment for the successes this company has enjoyed.

It is imperative, then, that we give back to the society and one of the ways in which we do this is through our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility programme.

“The blood donation day was just one of this company’s numerous CSR activities. Making a contribution to Qatari society is central to what we are trying to achieve at QPM. This company seeks domestic and international success but we want to be admired not only for our business skills, but also the way in which we do business.

He added: “There was a very pleasing turn out at the event. We are also happy to see a number of associates from Waseef make donations as well. Together, we can make a positive difference.”
