Epilepsy care training launched

With 500 to 700 children diagnosed with suffering from epilepsy, was a specialized course on the important fundamentals of Pediatric epilepsy and make desperately needed.

The training, conducted by the British paediatric neurology international epilepsy Association was launched here on Thursday, in combination with the Pediatric Neurology Conference, which was organized by the Hamad Medical Corporation. The course, held for the first time outside the United Kingdom, was aimed at educating Pediatric neurologists, pediatricians and trainees. HMC Pediatric Neurology head Khalid Omer Ibrahim said that the true prevalence of epilepsy after the completion of a planned study will be revealed by the HMC.
