HEC Parijs, Salam tekenen MoU voor training

DOHA in Qatar, a leading hub for HEC PARIS executive education and Salam International Investment Limited, a company listed Qatari shareholding have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that the implementation of the strategic vision of Salam International through executive development programs offered by HEC Paris would be easier.

After the first talks between the two sides, HEC Paris in Qatar and Salam International have agreed to cooperate with a view to the registration of Salam International executives with HEC Paris talent development programs in Qatar and internationally.

One of the first programs to open its doors to participants of Salam International will the Advanced Certificate will in luxury, which takes place in Paris and Milan.

"HEC Paris is deeply honored to partner with Salam International in providing executive education programs for the delegates," said Prof. Bernard Ramanantsoa, Dean of HEC Paris, who signed the MoU with Issa Abu Issa, Chairman and CEO of Salam International Investment Limited.

"Moreover, such a partnership allows us to work together in case studies that can provide interesting material to use when teaching about the region professors around the world.

With insights that participants to work on and improve their skills in organizational changes this partnership will also enable to prepare, Salam International build their corporate competitiveness in a global economy.

"So, HEC Paris looks forward to further growing its relationship with Salam International and establishing a partnership broader reach" Prof Ramanantsoa added.

In the framework of the MoU, HEC Paris and Salam International will work together on a case study in which the objectives and challenges of the family businesses public going the Qatari Exchange.

The case study is developed by Thomas Åstebro, Associate Professor of strategy at HEC Paris, assisted by his doctoral student Wendy Bradley.
