DOHA The Ministry of Interior’s (MoI) Facebook page bagged the ‘Best Design’ award from the Pan Arab Web Awards Academy, at a ceremony in Dubai recently. The ministry won the accolade in the e-Government Award category. The Academy said the winner in this category was chosen according to the number of visitors seeking information and services through the page.
Designed in both Arabic and English, the page has been constructed to provide information that interests the public, as well as give information about various services being offered by the ministry to society. The award underlines the ministry’s success in conducting effective interaction and communication with the public through social networking platforms, especially Facebook. (TNN)
