QC aid for 1,800 Syrian refugees in Iraq

DOHA QATAR Charity (QC) has distributed various relief materials, including food, clothing, and medical and kitchen items to 1,800 Syrian refugees in the Qaim area of Iraq.

As many as 440 packets containing canned meat, fish, milk, beans, eggs, cheese, cream, olives, sugar and tea were distributed for the benefit of the refugees.

Besides clothing items for children, women and men, there were also blankets, mats, brushes, hygiene kits containing towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, soap and personal hygiene items for women and children. The kitchen items included aluminum saucepans, glass plates and spoons.

QC also recently distributed clothes and blankets for the benefit of about 12,000 displaced Syrians in Syria and Jordan within the framework of the project ‘Warmth for Syria’.

Around 10,000 Syrian refugees across Jordan benefited from QC’s distribution, during the past winter, of clothing including sportswear, trousers, jackets, sweatshirts and blankets.

The Warmth for Syria project also facilitated the distribution of aid in Syria, focusing on Idlib and Latakia. It included blankets and clothing for around 1,200 children, 400 women and 400 men.
