35 students participating in the QA-internship program

DOHA QATAR Airways (QA) Department welcomed ' nationalization 35 students to their two-month long internship program.

The students are placed in different departments where they have first hand experience in the day-today operations of QA will acquire.

The program is now in the second year, students to get insights and opinions about how QA works.

The trainees are placed in the departments within the Organization, including commercial, finance, communications, operations, management, human resources, marketing, information technology, corporate planning and ground services. During the program, students will be able to understand the importance of each Department and their functions.

The main attraction of the program is the interns full integration into a Department. During the internship, the students with their supervisors assigned with a project that they must perform. After completion of the project, the interns will present its ' framework, implementation and findings to their Department and the team of QA-nationalization program for evaluation. The main criterion of the project is that this is a affect the airlines growth program should have.

On the interns graduation, she will in the QA departments that them than a chance to explore their options for choosing a field in which they want to develop their careers join a 22 months rotation program.

Qatar Airways Chief Executive Akbar al Baker said the Office internship program can benefit the students and the organization.

Qatar Airways nationalization Vice-President Dr Kholode al Obaidli said: "We are very happy to see an increase in the number of applications we receive. DAVID Abdulazeem, a student at Arizona State University where he majors in communication, began his apprenticeship three weeks ago in the corporate communications department. DAVID says the hands-on experience extremely free to what he studied at the school.

Cardiff University Law student Noor al Ajmi and University of Tampa student Ali Alajail, who is majoring in economics, also shared their thoughts on the program.

"My career goal is to find a challenging position that on my skills and knowledge, as well as professional experience builds. I'm an ambitious person who wants to work in an environment that is for me the opportunity to learn and under the guidance of those who are at the top of their field will provide, so I can make use of these skills to become an expert to develop myself. I am also looking for my acquired skills and education to the growth of the company to new heights, "said Noor.

Ali, who is interned in the corporate planning department, said, "my career ambitions have changed since I started this internship.
